L’Enfant Plaza Dental Arts has been a trusted part of the Washington, DC, community for over four decades. Since taking over the practice in 2021, Dr. Hodas has remained dedicated to providing the same high-quality care our patients have come to expect, all while incorporating the latest advancements in dentistry.
As a single-doctor practice, we emphasize a personalized approach to your dental care. From routine cleanings to advanced treatments, Dr. Hodas and her team deliver care with precision, a gentle touch, and a focus on your individual needs.

Dr. Maria Hodas
Dr. Hodas received her Doctorate in Dental Surgery from Howard University College of Dentistry. Her advanced post-graduate studies included a one year General Practice Residency at the Veteran’s Affairs Medical Center, Washington, DC where she trained under the Army’s top specialists in prosthodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orofacial pain to provide care for medically complex patients.
Currently, Dr. Hodas continues to attend education and training sessions in order to stay abreast of the latest dental techniques and technology. She is a member of the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, American Academy of Clear Aligners, and the Spear Faculty Club.
Dr. Hodas is proud to have been selected by her peers to be honored in Virginia Living Magazine as one of Northern Virginia’s top dentists in 2020 and 2021. Having lived in Washington, DC for nearly 20 years, she is pleased to bring this experience back home to the district at L’Enfant Plaza Dental Arts.
Dr. Hodas lives on Capitol Hill with her husband and two sons. She enjoys gardening, cooking, and is a proud DCPS parent.

Financial Options
Easy & Affordable Payment Options
We work with most PPO insurance plans (Aetna, Anthem, Guardian, Ameritas, Cigna, United Healthcare, and Delta Dental) but as an out-of-network provider.
What does this mean? It simply means that we don't have a pre-set contract with your insurance. You can absolutely use your PPO insurance benefits here and we file your claims for you. The difference is that reimbursement rates may or may not vary depending on your plan.

No insurance? Not a problem!
We offer financing options and an in-house membership savings plan for patients without dental insurance.
